LiDCO, the AIM-traded cardiovascular monitoring group, announces the resignation of Mr Bert Wiegman, non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Dr O'Brien said: 'Bert has provided us with excellent support and advice over the last four and a half years. His experience was instrumental in helping us to successfully float on the AIM market in July 2001 and has been invaluable since then. Bert is replaced by Ian Brown - whose appointment to the Board was announced on 12 October 2005. All at the Company join with me in thanking Bert and wishing him all the best and continued success in his other business ventures.

Mr Wiegman said: 'In the four years since my appointment, I have participated in a very exciting phase of the Company's development. I look forward to hearing further positive news in the future.'
